Mauricio knows how to frustrate the opposition

 

Mauricio has been impressive form for Brazil

Krakow, Poland, July 16, 2016 - Brazil's Mauricio proves to be a valuable player for Brazil as he is the best server and spiker from the teams remaining in the FIVB Volleyball World League Finals Krakow 2016.

He is on top of the Best Spikers ranking with the success rate of 58.06% in 31 attempts and is the best server from the remaining teams with 0.63 average by set.







Mauricio took part in the campaign of the ninth title of the World League in 2010 for Brazil. In 2013, 2014 he added a silver medal while in in 2014 he played only the first games and suffered an injury to his ankle while ruled him out of the Finals.




In 2014 he also was part of the silver medalist team at the FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship in Poland.

A total of $100,000 is awarded to the best players of the Finals, which will be selected by the Control Committee in the following categories: MVP, Best Setter, Best Opposite, Best Outside Spiker (2), Best Middle Blocker, Best Libero.
