Ljubljana, Slovenia, June 19, 2016 – Qatar and Tunisia will both go on the hunt for their first FIVB Volleyball World League win on Sunday.
Head-to-Head
· Qatar and Tunisia will meet for the first time at a major tournament.
· Tunisia have lost their last six matches against AVC sides since a 3-2 victory over Japan at the 2007 World Cup.
· It is Tunisia's first World League meeting with an AVC side.
Qatar
· Qatar have lost both their World League matches so far with the exact same score line: 3-1 against Slovenia and Venezuela.
· Qatar started their last match versus Venezuela with a victory in set one (27-25) before losing three in a row.
· John Chigbo scored a team-high 26 points this World League including 17 against Venezuela.
Tunisia
· Tunisia have lost both matches in straight sets at the 2016 World League.
· Tunisia never lost three consecutive World League matches without winning a single set.
· In 2015, they also started with two straight set defeats but they won the third match 3-1 against Puerto Rico.
· Tunisia have won exactly one World League match in both 2014 (v Mexico) and 2015.
