Montenegro's Vojin Cacic "It was a very difficult match"

Mexico City, Mexico, June 17 2016 - Montenegro won a 3-2 thriller against Germany in their opening game of the weekend in Group 3 of the World League.

Captain Vojin Cacic of Montenegro: “It was a very difficult match, Germany played very hard. We were expecting the match to be this demanding. In my opinion Germany is this was the toughest match because it was the first. Now we must now focus on Mexico”.

Head Coach Slobodan Boskan of Montenegro: “Germany is an opponent who you have to fight until the last point. I am very pleased with my team’s performance; they played more than one hundred percent. I was expecting a difficult match and I told my boys that they had to go point by point because they have a very tactical game. Vital is a very strategic coach, I know him well”.

Player Daniel Malescha of Germany:
“our first set was very good; we put a lot of pressure on Montenegro with our blocking. We made foolish mistakes in the second and third sets, giving them more opportunities to get into better rhythm. It was harder for us to break them, unfortunately we lost, it was pretty exhausting, and we aren’t used to Mexico’s height, other than that we are not at our full potential. Overall it was a good match”.
