Bratislava, Slovakia, June 25, 2016 - Dutch coach Gido Vermeulen said he was proud of his players as they fought back from two sets down to record win in Bratislava
The Netherlands coach, Gido Vermeulen: "Cuba started very well, they had good serve pressure of our team and we are very good side-out team and if we have problems with reception it is difficult for us to play. We packed together in third set and we showed that we are fight team with good spirit and I am very proud of my boys. We have two victories in Bratislava, but we are not satisfied with the game against Czech republic. We wanted to win all three matches."
The Netherlands opposite Wouter ter Maart: "We started very bad and our side-out was not good, but from the third set we played well and we made our chances. Spirit of the team is very good and that´s why we turned it from two sets down. We have two wins, but loss against Czech republic is still painful. We continue on the trip, next tournament is in Korea."
