Bratislava, Slovakia, June 24, 2016 - Czech Republic coach Miguel Angel Falasca said he was happy with his side's second victory in Bratislava as they downed Cuba in five sets.
Czech Republic coach Miguel Angel Falasca Fernandes: "Another important victory for us. I think we played better than yesterday even if we lost the third set. The only set which was not good was the fourth. They continued to put the pressure, we lost little bit focus and started to make mistakes in series. But for the rest was very good. We won clear first two sets and played very good and in tie-break we lead all the time. We still have to solve some problems, but we are happy for two victories."
Czech Wing Spiker Michal Finger: "We started great and won first two sets. It is a pity that we lost third, they puts us under pressure, but we made a lot of unforced errors. Cuba is very good team, they attack from the high and they block very well. Our goal was to press them with service. After two lost sets we finally started to play and tie-break was under our control. We are happy with two victories and looking forward to tomorrow's derby against Slovakia."
Cuba coach Rodolfo Sanchez: "Players from starting lineup disappointed me today and I needed to make a change. They didn't show what they can. Players from bench surprised me, they played well and that´s why we came back after we were two sets down."
