Saskatoon, June 26, 2016 - China prevailed over Korea 3-1 (18-25, 25-23, 25-17, 25-23). "It was a very tough game for us", admitted China's captain Shaui Jiao.
Yang Liqun, coach of China: It was a very difficult game for us. Everybody contributed to this win. I am extremely satisfied with their spirit and strong will to win this match.

Namsung Kim, coach of Korea: I think we did our best. We played at 90 percent but the luck was on China’s side so they won. Our next match will be in Korea, in our home environment so I think we will win.

Shaui Jiao, captain of China: It was a very tough game for us. The Korean team has their way of playing – the first set they put much pressure on us, but the coach changed the lineup and told us exactly how to respond to their attack.

Sun-Soo Han, captain of Korea: In the first set the players did well. After that the Chinese team led the game and because of that we lost. The next game will be in Korea, so we have to adjust to the time difference and prepare again for those matches.
