Ceske Budejovice, Czech Republic, June 19, 2016 - Canada managed to stop a Czech comeback in the fourth set, to earn their third win in Pool C2 with a 3-1 win (25-16, 25-23, 24-26, 26-24) in Ceske Budejovice on Sunday.
 

Miguel Falasca, Czech Republic, coach: We were close to a victory today but we have to avoid some mistakes. We have big potential and I think all the young players won so many experiences during this weekend.  

Ales Holubec, Czech Republic, captain: We started to play really from third set and I think we deserved at least to play a tiebreak. 

Frederic Winters, Canada, captain: This is the first time we havestarted the World League with three wins. on the road. We got little bit tired in third set. After that Blankenau came on and saved us from service line. It was nice to see, becuase he didn't play this weekend and he did his job.

Lawrence McKay, Canada, coach: Czech  Republic was a very strong team in second and third set. We had to play very well to beat them.
