Canada coach Hoag: I have to praise setter Tyler Sanders

Tampere, Finland, July 2, 2016 – Canada beat Portugal 3-0 (25-18, 25-22, 25-21) in an FIVB World League Group 2 Pool I match on Saturday.

Canada Coach Glenn Hoag: We are happy with the win. It was fairly focused play from my team so we were able to win. I have to praise setter Tyler Sanders. He has played a lot of matches this year and every time he delivers a good game.

Canada Captain Fred Winters: It was another win for us. Everyone in the team is feeling good. We want to win Group 2 and Finland tomorrow. And also more games in the Final Four.

Portugal Coach Francisco Santos: Congratulations to Canada. They deserved to win today. Their playing was on better level than ours.

Portugal Captain Alexandre Ferreira: Today we changed some players and gave more playing time to other players. We try to use every player thinking ahead to the Final Four.
