Giani directing players to stay focused

Ljubljana, Slovenia, June 18, 2016 - Slovenian team proved to be one of the dogs for the spot in the Group 3 Final Four in Germany. Coach Andrea Giani praised his team's performance in serve ad block.

Andrea Giani, coach of Slovenia:
“We had a very good start into the match and that’s why we played good in the match. We won many break points with the serve and block. In the third set we lost our focus a little bit, but in the end we regained it, which is the most important thing.”

Fethi Mkaouar, coach of Tunisia: “Slovenian team is a strong and our players are not happy to play against strong teams in serves and block. Today we played better than against Venezuela yesterday as we were more relaxed. I hope that tomorrow we will play even better.”

Tine Urnaut, captain of Slovenia:
“All teams competing in Ljubljana are good. Qatar yesterday proved to be a tough opponent, Tunisia today played well at times. But, I think we controlled the match well and even when they took the lead in the third set we had the game under control and brought the match to the end with ease.”

Alen Pajenk, middle blocker of Slovenia:
“We started the match well and did everything according to the plan. At the end of the third set we lost our track a little bit, but at the end 3-0 is a very nice win.”
