Seoul, Korea, July 2, 2016 – Korea claimed their second victory in FIVB Volleyball World League 2016 Group 2. They mastered a 3-2 (26-24, 25-20, 23-25, 28-30, 15-13) win against Egypt.

Kim Namsung, coach of Korea: "It was our first time to take charge. We cannot participate in the Rio Olympic Games, but we would like to show the power of Korean volleyball."

Sherif Elshemerly, coach of Egypt: "We congratulate Korea. They played well in the final set. Our team fought back in the third set. We had very good defense even we had problem in attacks. However, Korea also had very good defense today. That’s why they won the match. I am sure we did better than yesterday. Korea’s best was their overall teamwork."

Sun-Soo Han, captain of Korea: "We were concentrated from the first set to the last set, but we could not concentrate on the third set. From the third set, Egypt did well in blocking. But we tried to concentrate on the game at the end and the result was good."

Hossam Abdalla, player of Egypt: "Today we were in trouble. We could not concentrate on the game. So we made a lot of mistakes. It was hard to win. We are going to decrease the errors, so we will play better tomorrow."
