John Speraw: "We had an important reaction and we were able to play our volleyball"

 

Rome, Italy June 24, 2016 - USA wins the opening match of the second World League weekend at Rome’s PalaLottomatica, 3-2 (17-25, 25-20, 25-21, 21-25, 15-10) against Belgium, with Matthew Anderson once again in the points.

John Speraw, USA coach: “I'm not happy with the beginning of the match but we had an important reaction and we were able to play our volleyball".

Micah Christenson, USA: “It was an hard match, we alternated good play moments to less brilliant ones. We have to work together to get always better".

Dominique Baeyens, Belgium coach: “We started in a good way but then Usa react as a big team and recover the result. I saw a good organization in my athletes and I'm satisfy with the spiking sector".

Arno Van De Velde, Belgium: “We played good and we can consider it a good start, most of all because our opponents were Usa. We made mistakes but we hope to do better in the following games"
