It was good to see we can compete with the best: Konstantinov

Belgrade, Serbia, June 25, 2016 - Brazil beat Bulgaria 3-0 (25-14, 25-21, 25-12) in their FIVB World League match on Saturday, consigning Bulgaria to their sixth successive loss in the tournament.

Evandro Guerra, Brazil: "We served very well, and this was, I think, the key for this match. In the second set Bulgaria played much better, served better and created some problems for us, but we managed to deal with it."

Bernardo Rezende, Brazil, coach: "The second set was very tough. We served great tonight, played good defence. We came close to the Final Tournament but we have one more very difficult tournament ahead of us, so we have to stay focused."

Plamen Konstantinov, Bulgaria, coach: "I gave the chance to some young players to experience this kind of match. In the beginning we served very badly, but we improved in the second set and it is good for us to see that we can compete with the best. We lack experience, but I am hoping that we will come out stronger from theses matches."
