Italy coach Blengini Gianlorenzo - “It was a difficult match. France played a lot of qualification matches, so they’ve played a lot of matches, while this was our first and I think that was visible. We are a work in progress. We need to find good solutions. Their serve was a problem, this is one thing where our teams need to be better. We need to find more confidence with our receiving.”
Italian player Matteo Piano - “We wanted to play this match today, but it is difficult when you are never in front of France. They served really well, their defence was better than us, they received well. They played a good match today.”
