Lausanne, Switzerland, June 8, 2016 – Klemen Cebulj had a good year in 2015, picking up a gold medal with his club Cucine Lube Civitanova in the European League and a silver with the Slovenian national team in the European Championship.
Slovenia are scheduled to play in Group 3 of the FIVB World League, starting on June 17 with a match against Qatar.
The 200-cm Cebulj has been at the forefront of Slovenia’s success but when he’s not playing, he’s off to the countryside in his home country for a spot of fishing or a walk with his dogs.
However, when it comes to training, he takes his weights seriously and shows his love of the game.
“Weightlifting is an important part of training, but not one I prefer,” he admits in this video, but his dedication is clear to see.
