Gianlorenzo Blengini, coach of Italy: We started a little too stiff and it was hard to show our strenghts. USA played a game of precision but we were able to hold the fight. We are still in the running-in phase and we need to play with a calm attitude”.

During the third set we thought we could reverse the situation, but USA’s serving was very good. We are not looking for excuses for this loss, but we’ll keep on working to get to Rio in the best state possible.
