Jenia Grebennikov celebrates his succesful action
Krakow, Poland, July 13, 2016 - Jenia Grebennikov is named best libero on regulary basis at the major tournamets and is aiming to add another honour in Krakow.
Grebennikov is on top of the best diggers ranking with 3,03 average per set, including 100 digs, 33 faults, 7 receptions from total 140 attempts.
Grebennikov was named the best libero on three major tournaments in three consecutive years: 2014 FIVB World Championship, 2015 CEV European Championship and 2016 CEV Champions League. He was also member of the French squad who claimed the 2015 FIVB World League title and 2015 CEV European Championship title.
Grebennikov was born in Rennes, France as a son of a former Russian volleyball player and coach. He made his debut for French national team in 2011. On the club level he plays for Italian Cucine Lube Civitanova.
A total of $100,000 is awarded to the best players of the Finals, which will be selected by the Control Committee in the following categories:
MVP, Best Setter, Best Opposite, Best Outside Spiker (2), Best Middle Blocker, Best Libero.
