Rome, Italy June 25, 2016 - Italy defeated Belgium in straight sets (25-20, 25-17, 31-29) and coach Gianlorenzo Blengini praised the team's best scorer Ivan Zaytsev.

Gianlorenzo Blengini, coach of Italy: The Italian fans are supproting us every night. Both Italy and Belgium had less consistent performance compared to the previous matches. But thanks to Ivan Zaytsev's good serving and great talent we were able to prevail. We managed to stay focused also in the last fought set.

Dominique Baeyens, coach of Belgium: We have no regrets, we played a good match. Italy is a very strong team and we could have won the last set considering how it went.

Salvatore Rossini, Italy: We know that Belgium is a good team, in Australia they played good matches. The serves from Zaytsev helped us in difficult moments, but we have to improve match after match. I think that the way is long, but we are making a good job.

Seppe Baetens, Belgium: The first two sets were well played. In the second set Italy started serving very good, especially Zaytsev, and in the third set we played like we had nothing to lose. I think the last set was good and we showed people we deserve to play here in the high level of the World League.
